This is tutorial 1. It is kind of introduction on using Photoshop. I have been using Photoshop for quite a while now for fun but only today i know how to full screen it LOL thanks to the tutorial. On this tutorial i have been exposed to few methods and wonderful techniques.
For instance the first technique is to use the Feather. It is to give some space before the outer selection. And after that is to give some blur of the image.
On this tutorial, i used the provided images on the course site. Here they provided the starfish. On this section, i am trying to give the effect of the starfish falls from the sky by using the Blur filter - Gaussian Blur. And to make the 'biggest' starfish look alive falls from the sky, I used the Radial Blur with some minor Layer Masking.
The second part is on editing the TV. I used the Half Tone filter to make it looks like a real live TV screen. Then i added some Drop Shadows on the Layer Style.
On the other hand, the are some shadows on the foreground of the building. The tutorial teaches on how to make a fake shadow that overlays on the TV screen using Lasso Tool, here i used Polygonal. Setting the shadow layer opacity to 38% i get a mocking shadow that overlays on the TV screen.
