This tutorial touches on how to make a text or type to look real or 'alive' on a texture specifically in this tutorial, a wall. It involves adjustments on channels and manipulating them.
To start off, i have to make some distorted effect on the type itself. This is just making a random lines to make it looks like a wall texture. After making a layer mask on the type layer, this is how it looks like after applying the pixelate filter. I have to make one more channel layer and apply some brush filter to make the outer type look like it has been painted.

By playing around on the layer style, i can achieve a real on the wall effect of the type. Here i play around on the underlying layer level. This is the final output.

Next is manipulating the type by including an image layer underneath the type. The technique is same as the first one but only this one i use the 'group with previous layer' technique. This is the result.

Then i apply the skills that i have learnt on this tutorial. Cut out a frog image. Play around with the Layer Style to make it looks like on the wall. Type in the text, rastrize it. Do some channel layer and apply same as the first tutorial. After that i realize it does not have to be on the wall. Then i put them all together on a paper texture. This is the result. It may not look good but there is a first time for everything right ? ;)
